Thank you for your question Vince. The combined sewer system was not separated as part of the Prince Street project. However, separation is one of the control strategies being considered in the Evaluation of Alternatives for the updated Long Term Control Plan, and the City is pursuing separation of the combined system in other areas as feasible. More information on this will be shared at the next Public Meeting to be held in the first half of 2022.

I have a question. When Prince St. was being redone the city didn't, by chance, run a separate sewer line just for rainwater run off did it? When redoing city streets if separate lines were installed it would relieve some of the burden from the treatment plant during rain events.
