Dauphin to Orange St.

From "Broad & Chesapeake Streets Corridor Project"

Go to the project

I am not sure we need a two-lane bike lane, reducing the overall width of the road. The intersection at Broad an King, traveling South is already hard to make a left turn easily, now with the proposed design you are pushing the two lanes coming up the hill at an odd angle. I would start the two-lanes for bikes after that Stevens parking area.

Also, since the intersection at King and Broad is being evaluated, can I propose an idea of having either a left turn green arrow from Broad going South to the turn on to E. King away? And an extended green arrow as well? With the two lanes coming up the hill it is sometimes difficult to turn and then the turn lane backs up, or you have people going on red, which endangers the left turn from 462/King St. to South Broad.
