Thanks for your input. The current plans, as they begin to come together, definitely include a mix of housing, green space, and connectivity for bikes and pedestrians.

The prison needs to be razed and the site built up with a mix of housing that is market rate and affordable. It should extend some of the green space afforded by the park and connect bicycles to other parts of the city.

I would think that the park right beside that space is 'green space' enough, but I would like to see some gardens that residents in the area could use to grow some vegetables and allow for some wildflowers in the space to attract bees and other critters that would add some growth in terms of wildlife.
