I have been asking you to fix this for 24 years

The 200 block of Beaver Street is unsafe. Our home has been struck 3 times due to wrong way traffic on a one way street. On the opening day of this year's school session, I reviewed our security video and saw 99 pedestrians walking in the street, not the sidewalk, while 9 vehicles travelled the wrong way while children were entering school.
There are no signs on Conestoga Street indicating that Beaver Street is one way. There should be crosswalks across both Beaver and Conestoga Street. There should be a crossing guard on duty during school. There need to be "don't block the box" signs on Conestoga Street, which gets grid locked every day when school is in session. There need to be barriers preventing cars from parking at the corner of Conestoga and Beaver Streets to allow proper sight lines. Parking for the school should be angled southbound like it is on South Duke Street. Police need to enforce traffic laws and traffic officers need to enforce illegal parking. There is absolutely no reason why a resident of this city should have to remind "city leadership" about this for 24 years other than city employee's indifference, ignorance and apathy.
