No 2-way bike path!!!
From "Broad & Chesapeake Streets Corridor Project"

A 2-way bike path is an accident waiting to happen, especially on the steep hills between Broad and Dauphin and east of Ann. And in between on Broad there should NOT be any bike lanes between parked cars and the curb. Kittleson knows (or should know) that this design is not currently legal in PA (see Sec. 3354 of the Vehicle Code (Title 75)), so why are they even designing such a facility and creating a liability for themselves and the City? If any bike lanes are to be built, there is room for conventional ones on each side, as long as they are completely out of the door zone of parked cars.
I refuse to risk my safety by using these hidden bike lanes--anywhere, not just in Lancaster. I either find a different route or ride in the travel lanes where I can see and be seen by the drivers I have to negotiate with.
