Raised crosswalk could use paint

Raised ped crosswalk is great and helps to slow traffic down. I'd love to see this used in more places! One slight issue I noticed is that it is hard to see a difference in the road when driving, and the signage is far off to the side and behind parked cars. Before I got used to it I hit it going a bit too fast a couple times because I wasn't sure it was actually a raised crossing.

'Speedbumb' paint would be a cheap way to draw additional driver attention to it, and encourage drivers to be cautious.

I just drove by this today, it looked like the pavement on the Southbound lane (south side of the intersection near the drain in the street) has frequently been scraped by traffic. That does seem to be the most aggressive 'bump' between the travel lane and the raised portion of the intersection. Drawing increased driver attention to it may slow people down and prevent further damage to vehicles/roadway. (And protect pedestrians)
