Speeding, pedestrian safety and school

Hello!
We've noticed a lot of people speeding up and down the 900 block of Union St (Lafayette elementary schools field is adjacent to a portion of union here).
Any possibility of speed enforcement/speed study/a couple speed tables between prospect and hershey to slow people down?
