The 100 block of South Duke Street

The 100 block of South Duke street is an issue. Between 3:30 and 5 PM the two lane Duke street becomes a racing zone. Cars at the light on Vine Street try to zoom past other cars to get to the light on Church Street. They cut each other off and try to get past the Church light before it turns red again. I would offer that South Duke Street between Vine and Church streets have parking on both sides of the street and make that part of South Duke Street a single lane road. A left turn on to Church Street can be offered about 50 feet from Church Street.

I suspect That would slow up traffic and make it safer.
