Greg Newswanger5 years ago Recently I received a $2000 quarterly water bill for an apartment that I own. It turns out water in the toilet had been running for many weeks contributing to 154,000 gallons being used in that three month time period.I have been told that some municipalities send alerts to customers when water use is significantly above normal. I do not think that this is something Lancaster does. This kind of program could help homeowners, companies, and landlords investigate potential water leaks and equipment malfunctions much sooner than taking action only after a quarterly water bill is received.
