Eastbound Connector

Jen Wenrich Richard•5 years ago I am very concerned about having the bike lane next to the curb. Cars already need to pull out very far to see at cross streets. Also, when getting out of the car on Walnut, it is dangerous to open the door into traffic. Also, Walnut is an emergency route so it has snow removal from curb to curb. Lemon does not have this so it will be a problem when it snows. I am on the 600 block of West Lemon and according to the plan, we will lose 3 spots. We often have students from F&M park on our block as we are not permit parking, so losing spots is a problem. We will lose the most out of the entire street. I feel like it doesn’t matter what we say. You just want the grant money and don’t really care what we think. If Lemon has a bike lane it should be between traffic and the parked cars.
