Bike It Lancaster Bike Share Survey
The City of Lancaster, in partnership with Tandem Mobility and several local sponsors, has launched an exciting new bike share system. Bike share is part of the City’s overall effort to provide a variety of active transportation options and infrastructure to residents and visitors.
Bike sharing is an easy and fun form of public transportation that first came to Lancaster in October 2017. In April 2021, Bike It Lancaster bike share returned with 25 easy to ride and professionally maintained bikes and network of 12 docking stations deployed around the City of Lancaster. The bikes and docking stations provide a convenient, affordable, and healthy transit option that makes it easy to take short trips. Bike share users can access a bike at any station and return it to any other station by using their smart phone.
