Church Street Complete Street Project

The City of Lancaster is working to make Church Street a safer, more pedestrian-friendly corridor.

Data shows that things like slower speed limits, fewer lanes of motor vehicle traffic, more visible crosswalks, lighting, landscaping, better sidewalks, and bicycle infrastructure can all help reduce crashes and injuries.

The input and ideas you provide will help make the Church Street corridor a place where people of all ages and abilities can safely walk, ride, drive, bike, and get together.

Public Review of the Concept Plan

March 17, 2023 - April 30, 2023

During this phase we need feedback from people who live, work, and play in the area.

We will host an in-person meeting on March 28, 2023 to share concept plans and hear feedback from the community. We will also post materials here for your review and comment throughout the month of April. Your input will be used to develop Preliminary Designs.
