
Planning Our Future Lancaster: Climate Action
The City of Lancaster is creating its next comprehensive plan! The plan will help shape how Lancaster addresses climate change.
It’s clear that human activities are causing rapid changes to the Earth’s climate, but these changes will bring a mix of major challenges and opportunities to our region. Summers are getting hotter, storms are getting more extreme, and there are thousands of jobs coming on-line in renewable energy, transportation, and energy efficient buildings.

The City of Lancaster is in the process of updating its comprehensive plan, which was last prepared in 1993.
