South Duke Street Mobility

The City of Lancaster is making South Duke Street a safer, more community-friendly corridor for people who live, work, and play here. Data shows that things like slower speed limits, more visible crosswalks, lighting, better sidewalks and bike lanes can all help reduce accidents and injuries.

Before breaking ground, the City heard your thoughts, ideas and experiences on the neighborhood streets. You know where the sidewalks and crosswalks needed to be improved, where you like to cross the street (and where you don’t), where you see drivers speeding, and where we need more light, more trees, and places to sit.

The input and ideas you provided will help make the Corridor, and all of the Southeast, a place where our community can safely walk, ride, drive, bike and get together.
