Plum Street Roundabout
The City has secured funding to convert the temporary mini-roundabout on Plum Street at Park Avenue and New Street to a permanent mini-roundabout.
Roundabouts are proven to improve safety, promote lower speeds and calm traffic, reduce conflict points, and lead to improved operational performance. Before breaking ground, the City would like to hear your thoughts, ideas, and experiences related to the temporary roundabout.
The City would also like to gather feedback on how to make the expansive street space on Park Avenue into a public space for pedestrians and residents rather than cars.
The input and ideas you provide will help make this area a place where people of all ages and abilities can safely walk, ride, drive, bike, and get together.
Questions? Want to talk to someone about your ideas? Contact Cindy McCormick, Deputy Director, Right-of-Way at: (717) 291-4729.
