Our Future Lancaster: Policy Review

The City of Lancaster is in the process of updating their comprehensive plan, which was last prepared in 1993. The comprehensive plan will serve as a foundation for decision-making as it relates to future development, with a focus on community outreach to help understand what is most important to the local community.

On May 24, 2023, after carefully studying the city and hearing from over 5,000 people, the City released draft planning systems and policies for the upcoming Comprehensive Plan.
