The City of Lancaster has joined Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Youth Climate Action Fund!

The Youth Climate Action Fund helps young people ages 15–24 bring their ideas to life. The project possibilities are endless. It could include things like composting and reuse of materials, native plantings, or helping the community prepare for climate impacts. It could also support events, education, local research, or art projects to encourage Lancaster residents to better understand climate challenges and encouraging taking action.

The City of Lancaster seeks proposals from young leaders who have ideas for projects to improve sustainability. The City will select the strongest proposals and fund them through micro-grants of $1,000 to $5,000.
