Youth Climate Action Survey
The City of Lancaster wants to hear from young people ages 15–24 about the environment, their neighborhoods, and the changes they would like to see in the community.
Through funding from Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Youth Climate Action Fund, the City is conducting a baseline survey to better understand young people’s knowledge, interests, and involvement in sustainability and climate action.
What is sustainability?
Sustainability means taking care of our environment and community today while protecting resources for future generations. This can include reducing waste, saving energy and water, improving parks and green spaces, growing healthy food, using cleaner transportation, and making neighborhoods safer and healthier.
Your feedback will help shape future planning efforts focused on how sustainability and climate issues affect young people. It will also help the City develop programs and funding opportunities that reflect the ideas and priorities of Lancaster’s youth.
Grant applications for community climate action projects will open on September 1, 2026.
